Liv did a fabulous job performing in her COPA MDT solo showcase. She sang On the Steps of the Palace from Into the Woods- it was a very difficult piece but she tackled it and did a great job performing it. All the fun group shots afterwards, we particularly get a kick out of the photo bomb by Katie Higbee.

Liv took a voice over workshop at HCTO recently, and soon after we saw an audition notice from the Apple Seed podcast at BYUradio for some children needed for some of their short story voice overs. I was super impressed with the way Liv took all the skills she had learned from the workshop and applied them. She knew exactly how to record the voice over audition. She set up a blanket and pillow fort to block sound and read just her lines with a short break between lines. They ended up offering her a part. It was a super fun experience to record in BYU radio’s recording studio.
She knew exactly what to do in the room and read each line three different ways so the director could hear a variety of options and choose which best fit the direction they were wanting to go. She did such a great job that soon after she got invited back to record a second short story voice over. She got paid big bucks for this project which was exciting for her. They paid her $75 dollars and hour! The last performance of the year for Liv was her voice recital at HCTO. She and Wren sang a duet of Sister’s from White Christmas. They did such a cute job singing harmonies, and dancing with big fans. It was super fun and entertaining to watch.
