We thought the kids might enjoy a haunted carriage ride this year. So I got tickets to a carriage in Springville with ghostly creatures that try to spook you and while you ride they play the story of the Headless Horseman. Derek suggested we do it in the early evening before it gets dark so the kids would be less scared. Well, it backfired they all thought it was not scary and stupid...perhaps in the dark it would have spooked them a little more.
I let Liv bring Bentley with us and afterwards, to make up for it was watched Witches (which was a scary movie if you ask me). The youth of the ward threw a fun carnival. The only pic I took was of Carter trying to eat a donut on a string.
Liv and Camden both picked their costumes early in the summer. Liv was set on Hermione from Harry Potter and honestly she was a perfect Hermione.
Camden was set on being a blow up dinosaur. Whenever a new person would come to the house all summer long Camden would say wait there and take off to his room to don his blow up dinosaur suit. It got tons of laughs every time when he came waddling out. Unfortunately, it was a little annoying tricker treating night. I think he said he had to change out the batteries several times. Carter just wanted to be a BYU football player and the Davis's were nice enough to give us a uniform and pads they already had! Babi and Papou decided to join us for Halloween this year.
Liv had been some busy with her show we barely got pumpkins cared the day of. Camden wanted a dinosaur, Carter wanted a BYU football helmet, Liv wanted Zac Efron.
D helped make all their wishes come true as usual except Liv's he refused and told her she was on her own, but she took matters into her own hands and did a great job.
Babi and George took the boys around. Liv insisted on going with her friends and without any of us.
Derek did homemade root beer again which is always a big hit in the neighborhood.
