St. Patty's Day
St. Patrick’s Day sort of snuck up on me this year. Last minute, the Leprauchan decided to come and gathered every green thing it could find to liter in our front room. He also left some treats for the kids.

Temple Baptism Night with Liv's MDT Friends
Liv will turn 12 later this year and thus, at the start of the year she went into YW, and was eligible for a temple recommend to perform baptisms for the dead. It was neat to sit in on her interview. She asked lots of questions to make sure she was understanding each question before she answered. She has loved going to the temple and loves printing of her own names. She has very few neighborhood or school friends who also went into YW this year. She asked me to arrange a temple night with some of her MDT friends who are also in YW. Derek and I took all the girls to the Provo City Center temple.

Ski Day with Liv
I bought Liv a 5th grade ski pass this year. They offer it to all 5th graders in the state of Utah and you can ski every resort in the state 3 times for $50. As the ski season was coming to a close realized I was never going to get her on the mountain unless I took her out of school. So I let her ditch school one day which happened to have probably the best powder of the year. We had the best snow and snow day. We spent most of the day skiing the back mountain at Sundance together. It was a blast.
She did get to use it one more day with Bentley’s family. I understand she and Bentley skied a bunch of black diamond runs. Got her money’s worth even using it just once, but certainly wasn’t able to use that pass to it’s full potential
