Derek and I often go for Sunday strolls and every week we invited all the kids to join us. Everyone always says no, but usually Carter Cutes will join us on his scooter or something.
He also loves riding his mountain bike especially over jumps and bumps. This stinker woke me up one summer morning with his storm trooper mask on and playing Star Wars theme music. That was a scary way to be awakened from sleep.
He still loves to play games and is always begging me to play a game with him. Here we are playing a game of Sorry.
He loves playing with his friends and talking to friends on FaceTime. He seems to really enjoy playing the piano and will often try to challenge himself to do more than required for the week’s practice. He just finished the Provo basketball league and is moving on to a Vineyard season now. Carter loves to shovel snow. During our COVID quarantine it snowed almost daily and Carter went out and shoveled the drive way and walks every morning. He did a great job too and it was much appreciated as Derek was much to sick to go out and do it himself.
