Fall Break in St. George with the Bluncks

We have been trying to get to a Tuacahn show with the Bluncks all year!  At first we intended to make a girls' trip out of it, but then the only time we could make it work for both our families to go was Fall Break.  Mom and George happened to be out of town in Africa at that time, so with a little extra space at their place available we decided to bring out whole families down.  The first item of business was seeing When You Wish at Tuacahn. 



And Hallie and Liv called head to make sure they both wore the same shirt! 

The sleeping arrangement at my Moms ended up being my boys and Braxson Blunck in the bunk bed room and Hallie and her sister and Liv in the office.  Derek and I slept in Mom and George's room.  And the Alissa and Kendall slept with their cute toddler in the guest room.  The girls would stay up late into the night talking.  One night we went in there to settle them down and found that Savannah has braided Liv and Hallie's hair to each others' heads.  We told them to take it out and after a few more minutes of them being super loud we went in to find them still braided together.  We took the Bluncks to explore Pioneer Park. 


And we went to the Santa Clara Aquatic Center which had a super fun jungle theme for the kids. 


Babi was so sweet and left little Halloween activities for the kids to do (scratch pumpkins and a Halloween castles to put together). 

The Bluncks headed home on Saturday morning, but we decided to stay one more night.  So Saturday, we met up with the Leepers and Thorsteds who were also in St. George that weekend.  We did the Johnson's Arch Trail hike with all of them.  The kids loved climbing on rocks and playing in the sand at the end of the trail.




 Saturday night, the Thorsted's stayed with us at Mom's house.  We had fun playing games.  Then, Sunday morning we all packed up and headed home.  It was a great weekend filled with so many friends and fun memories.
