We celebrated Pioneer Day by going on a family hike up Big Springs. We intended to hike the Y, but got blocked some temple to temple 5K. Then, we roped the Mayletts into going to the Museum of Natural Curiosity with us. I love going to that place with older kids because they keep tabs on my younger kids. Surprisingly, it wasn't over crowded. They all loved the museum as usual. We let all the kids even the boys ride the zipline all by themselves. We fed some very hungry fish. I was afraid we were going to get some fingers bit off, but everyone left in one piece.

Afterwards, we introduced the Mayletts to Mo' Betters which was also much more manageable with their assistance.
All the kids were so worn out from the day, that they fell asleep before the fireworks show and didn't even wake up to all the blasting music and fireworks around the neighborhood.
