The kids have begun another year of school.
This year they are all together at Canyon View Junior High School. We are adjusting to waking up and being at school by 7:45. The boys for the first time in their life seem to care about how they look (at least the did at the start of the school year). The first couple weeks of school they would try on their outfits for the next day for Liv and ask her if they looked cool. I have been impressed with how well the boys have managed the transition to school. They have really done a great job keeping up and taking initiative on their school work and any make up school work or needed test re-takes. They all seem to be on track to end the first quarter with all As. Camden has two ALL classes- history and English and he seems to be doing super well in these. I have been impressed with the way he can look forward to future deadlines and spaces out work load to make sure it all gets completed on time. Carter is really loving history- he says his history class is his favorite teacher and class he has ever taken and whenever he has history he will come home and recite everything he has learned. Camden is playing the French horn in the beginning band and Carter is learning percussion. Liv continues to do well balancing school and friends and sports and seems to be thriving in her first year of high school. She loves her Foods class most- she was able to get her food handler’s permit as part of this.
