This year for our annual Thorsted/Watkins/Marshall campout
Derek found us a campsite in the Uintahs near Mirror lake. It was called Lost Lake. We did the lofty loop lakes hike. 
It was harder and longer than Derek remembered, but it was beautiful.
Kota
loves swimming in all the lakes. Most of
us jumped into Lofty Lake- I swam across it and back with Kota. We had only as short time to hang around the campground. The boys and Ander hunted chipmunks with bb guns. 
Unfortunately, it ended up pouring most of
our time there, so we spent quite a bit of time hiding in the trailing and
playing games. The kids hid in the big
canvas tent and watched downloaded movies.
Some people went home Saturday evening because a bunch of the hammocks
and sleeping gear got soaked. Nonetheless
we had fun all hanging together up in
the mountains.
