This year on Halloween Olivia ditched us all day for Johanna. She went down to some Red Barn with their family and then back to their place for dinner and trick or treating. I didn't even get to take a picture of her in her costume. Luckily, Johanna's Mom sent me this.
She went as a poodle girl and luckily, Julie Riley already had a skirt she let us borrow. Liv's friend Johanna said she always goes as something cutsie. So now Liv says she is determined to go as something scary next year. We shall see. Derek decided he didn't think it was safe to pour out homemade rootbeer, so we just set out candy. Camden told me he was gonna dress as a snake, but then last minute through together this Headless Horseman outfit. Carter went as a zombie (basically torn up clothes and a scary face?
They both were super cute in their school Halloween performance. Camden was a snake/trick or treater for that and Carter was a Gobblin...same clothes just a green face. They told cute jokes and sang songs and danced. We carved pumpkins without Olivia this year.
Both boys wanted their jack o laterns to look like snakes. Derek delivered as usual.
D and I took turns taking the boys around the neighborhood, despite COVID most of the older neighbors in our neighborhood made it very obvious that they did indeed want the kids to come by, so we did.
