Twin Update

These twins are still often found tangled and entwined.  I love it.

This year the boys are in 1st grade and they had a bring your pet to school day.  Camden insisted on bringing his own pet separate from Carter.  So we showed up at the school with London and a chicken.  The Poor chicken squawked in the the dog crate through the entire class's pet presentation.  I'm fairly sure no one has ever brought a chicken to school for pet day, but that was definitely an adventure--luckily Mom and George were in town that day to help me corral the chicken into the dog crate.

The boys are excited to have passed hockey 2 in the Learn to Skate Program.  They can now officially sign up for an actually hockey team.
However, they decided to take a little break from hockey to play basketball which they both seemed to love.  Derek bought them each their own basketball and Camden often brought his to school to practice dribbling.  Most of all they seemed to love wearing jerseys.  And they love going to BYU basketball games too, but most especially getting up close to Cosmo.

Also, both the boys are in their 3rd year of Let's Play Music and getting much better at playing the piano.  Camden is also taking Ukulele lessons which he enjoys and is adorable to watch.  Carter has taken an interest in bikes. He can often be found riding rain or shine or snow and early in the morning before school and the second he gets home.  This is a cute picture of him fascinated by Jens fixing a bike.

Both boys have no lost their first 2 bottom teeth.  Carter had 2 loose teeth for the first month or so of school.  They stayed that way forever, allowing the two new teeth to grow in behind until he finally got them out.  Camden, who had been so anxiously awaiting having his first loose tooth one day recently noticed one of his teeth was loose and was so excited that he immediately grabbed it and just yanked on it until it came out.  It was something fierce to watch.  Then, with that tooth out he noticed the one next to it was slightly loose, so he pulled that one out too.  All within 5 minutes or so.

The snow has begun and every time it snows, Carter is always the first out to shovel the snow off the driveway.  He usually starts when it is still dumping and everything he shovels gets covered up again within in minutes.

I got to go on a field trip with the boys and Liv actually to Chatbooks today.  They earned this special field trip because each of them completed 8 coding activities.  It was kinda fun to ride the bus with the boys and be part of that.  Here is a pic I snatched of Camden and his BFF, Caleb.
