Spring Happenings

Liv had a preschool day at school in her child development class.  She arranged to bring Bodie Whitmer to class with her for the day. They both had the best time. 

The boys had their last Foothill Art Gala.  (All the lasts this year). 

Liv and I went to support Audrey in Little Woman in her Herber theater.  She was a beautiful and hilarious Amy.

As 6^th graders, they do a midevil feast day every year.  Carter was a knight and had to finish all sorts of tasks to be knighted like giving someone a sincere compliment and serving his teacher somehow in the classroom.  Camden was the court minstrel and brought his electric guitar to serenade everyone.  I helped d-bone so many roasted chickens for the event. 

Both Carter and Liv participated in the Rise Up Beyond music video. 

For mother’s day all the kids and Derek made me cheese fondue and it was a great relaxing day at home together as a family. 

The boys finished soccer and have declared they are done with soccer- they want to focus on baseball and football.  But soccer was a great sport for them this year which taught them to work hard and condition.

Liv and I also went to see Hunter and Ryan in Finding Neverland.  We made it a date night with Annie and Brielle after we found out they were going the same night.   We went to Costa Vida on the way up and then Liv and Brielle sat together in our seats and Annie and I sat together in their seats.  The show was great and the boys were fabulous. 

Liv is playing rec softball with Mike Finch coaching and his girls on the team and she roped Emma into playing with her too.  It is super fun to watch and support their team. 

They are playing baseball and playing so well this year.  Camden is the team catcher and Carter pitches sometimes and does a great job.  But he also has made some great in field and outfield plays.  They have both had some great hits too.
