Trailer Campout #6/ Cedar Breaks

Fourth of July weekend we spent up at Cedar Breaks. We camped the first night with Chase up Cedar Canyon which was gorgeous!
None of us had ever been up that canyon before. Then, we moved to the Point Supreme Campground at Cedar Breaks National Monument the next Day.
Mom and George met us there. 10,000 ft elevation had us all huffing and puffing, but the view of Cedar Breaks was gorgeous.
We did a hike to a lake up there which was fantastic once we got used to the altitude.
Liv decided everyone including Derek, both brothers, Chase, and Papou all needed their nails painted patriotic colors because that is most definitely called for when camping over the 4th of July Weekend.
Babi bought ginormous marshmallows for s’mores which were a mess, but enjoyed.
We did one last little sunset hike and then Babi and Papou headed home for the night.
Derek and I took advantage of all the extra babysitting help and extended our walk a little longer. Cedar Breaks in the evening at 10,000 ft was so quiet and peaceful and majestic.
On the 4th of July we packed up and headed home in time to host a BBQ for all of Derek’s family at our house. And then Derek wowed everyone with a pretty impressive fireworks show in front of our house.
